Outbound relay failure for shared web server

My shared webserver 'stack' had issues where one of the outbound relays failed, due to an issue with billing and funding. This was an oversight on my part, where I made some mistakes when keeping track of the budget and when the server was next due.

My system switches it's exit relays automatically every three hours, and this process is not very failsafe. My budget however, is intended to be free of failures of this kind. This means for periods of three hours, that there was no outbound access. I was also away when this happened, like most big outages.

This blog was written on the 11th of October.

I am sorry for the issues that this has caused.
