Email issues over the last 12-18 hoursThere have been some issues to the Infantile email server recently. I had made some changes to the server, but these left it not properly receiving mail. These issues have been fixed, and mails are coming in again. Email servers by design retry sending mails and such, but if these attempts repeatedly fail the attempts themselves happen less often. Therefore, it could be a few hours or more before all emails have come through and things are running as normal again. It is possible some emails might have bounced, and need to be resent. Generally, attempts to resend normally last a lot longer than the outage itself and so things should be fine. There was testing after my configuration changes, but the problem with the configuration took a while to brew and emails stopped coming in while I was away. I am sorry about this disruption to email services. |
