Outbound Relay FailureA serious failure occured with all outbound traffic from the server, both onion and clearnet access was broken. I have fixed the issues but without truly knowing the cause. I am not sure if it will happen again or not, but I can rule out some things. I believe the issue is possibly some kind of glitch with the Tor network. Multiple middleboxes were affected by the issue that share a lot of common software. I do not think the issue is a security issue or denial of service. This outage had effects on things like sites fetching exchange data and more. It also could have delayed outbound email services from Infantile. I will monitor the situation and hopefully find the issue. |
